You've just graduated from the Poly. A new chapter begins when you commence your NS. - A new opportunity to grow, to trust God, and to commit to be faithful and to live for Him. A new opportunity to taste the goodness of God.

As always, I am with you, and the Lord is with us.God is good, all the time

Dear Erica, God created you, every detail about you. You are His beautiful daughter and our precious princess. No matter where life takes you, you will always be in our hearts, and we know you will be in God's care because Ps. 91:11 says, "For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go." God has a special plan for your life. Always seek His face and you will know what that plan is. Phil 1:6 says, "And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Chrst Jesus Returns" Love, Grandpa & Lita

Holley, this is beautiful and so timely. I just came from praying with my husband. We are heavily persuing God for direction because I have been diagnosed with possible bladder cancer. He is giving me a peace that passes all understanding. Then, I come to the computer and open up your posting today. God used you to speak directly to me. Thank you, thank you for being used mightily.

Dear Holley:

I have been believing God for a long, long time for a particular promise to be fulfilled. I do not doubt God for a minute that He is not faithful to do what He has promised, but every circumstance in my life right now seems so utterley disappointing. I will always love God with all my heart, mind, and soul, but I have been so tempted to give up the fight and just resign myself to giving up my hope. Your comment this morning struck every single area that I was struggling in, and it felt as if God was speaking directly to me. I printed a copy of it to keep in front of me, whenever discouragement strikes. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being used of God to speak the words of encouragement I needed to keep going.

Dear Barb,

I just want you to know I stopped and prayed for you after I read your post. I'm still going through "after-care" for breast cancer and the Lord has been with me every step of this journey. He will do the same for you. I have learned so much since finding out about the cancer...most of all, to lean on Him...and to realize that there are some wonderful people in my life who pray for me and care for me...even strangers who have volunteered their time to take me to appointments! You are very fortunate to have your husband to pray with...it's tougher, I think, to not have a marriage partner when something like this hits. But I have my Lord; He is all I need. God will be protecting you in the shadow of His wings...and you will find the greatest joy of your life. He supplies the joy at the moments we need it most. People will notice and comment on it...the perfect time to share Jesus with them!! God's blessings to you, Barb, as you travel uncharted territory. He will mold you to become all He has ever wanted you to be!

Thinking of this comment as a tribute, an encouragement to others, and a highlight of what some young people have to live through and the power of His redemptive love. One of the girls I disciple at church is a true picture of determination and trust in the Lord.Lord willing, this Fall, Ana (not her real name) will become the first in her family to attend college! This achievement is not only important due to this fact and the example she is setting to others, but also because Ana has trusted God to lead her each day in the mist of hardship.Ana's mom had to flee their home with two little ones in order to escape an abusive husband. Ana's mom raised her children as a single mom on an extremely limited income. In spite of the hardships and a perfect environment for Ana to become a harsh teen, Ana has chosen to trust in Christ and let Him lead her life.Ana is a straight As student, is diligent in seeking scholarships and applying to universities, plays the guitar at church, and serves in the Sunday School department as an aid. We are trusting He will provide everything for the next step in her journey.Just wanted to encourage others to truly see that our "Future is Full"! This young girl is a perfect example of what Christ does in a life surrendered to Him!

Dear Logan,I am so proud of what a well rounded christian young man you are. Your scholastic achievements such as the high honor roll, national honor society. Being recognized by D.A.R award for citizenship, being nominated as prom king, Mr. Kaneland, and your scholarship from the U. of Minnesota for your athletic talents in track and your acedemic achievements all are great achievements.

Going down state in your junior year and winning thethree hundred hurdles and placing seventh in pole vault was such great accomplishment and thrill for your family, friends, and school.

Serving your church as an usher and greeter is wonderful. You display your love for God in all you do and give credit to God for all your accomplishments.

May God bless you and be with you in all you do asa college student preparing for your adult life.

I praise the Lord for you,Grandma, Meanger
