Beyond the Clouds

I stare at the grey-rain sky.

The clouds have rolled in this week. 

I feel it in my heart too-- 

little puffs of fear, worry, distraction. 

But then I remember...

The sun is still there, just like always.

It's as real as ever.

It hasn't gone anywhere. 

It's the same way with my heart.

Behind those emotions...

I am loved. 

I have a purpose.

God is all and all is well.

That's as true as it has always been.

Always will be.  

Even more certain than the sun.

Yes, I think I can see joy peeking through already. 

Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

As always Holley your post goes straight to the Heart of the matter. It's funny how God will tend to repeat Himself with me, guess He knows how thick headed I can be. This is the 2nd day in a row that Hebrews 11:1 has shown up and yes I am struggling with my faith right now.I am so tired of being in the valley, well maybe not in the valley anymore but slowly on the way up, its exhausting, the ups and downs. I know He's there, He just feels kind of far away right now.

I agree with all the above.....last week was a cloudy one for me with rain even though the skies were clear. But He reminded me that I´m never alone and gave me a wonderful hug!!
